Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Tsawq.com (“Tsawq,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, discloses and protects information when you use the Tsawq website and related online services.
Tsawq is a classifieds marketplace/platform that connects users who post listings with users who browse or respond to listings. Tsawq is not the seller, buyer, owner, broker, employer, landlord, tenant, agent, payment processor, delivery provider, escrow provider or other party to transactions between users unless expressly stated otherwise.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use Tsawq, we may collect account information such as username, name, email address, phone number, password credentials, account type, account settings and account status.
We may collect listing information such as listing title, description, category, price, condition, photos, uploaded content, selected listing options and listing status.
We may collect location-related information you choose to provide, such as governorate, area, listing location or location fields used for search and classifieds functionality.
We may process seller contact information you choose to publish or provide through listings or account settings, messages or inquiries submitted through contact forms or seller-contact tools, cookie/local-storage/consent information, and website usage or technical information needed to operate, secure and improve the website.
Do not include sensitive personal information in public listings unless you intend it to be visible to other users or the public.
2. How We Use Information
We may use information to create, authenticate and manage accounts; publish, display, search, categorize and manage listings; enable users to contact sellers or respond to listings; provide support; operate, debug and secure the website; prevent fraud, spam, abuse and unauthorized access; review or moderate listings, accounts, comments or reports; improve website performance and usability; maintain language, cookie and consent preferences; comply with applicable legal obligations; and enforce our Terms of Use and policies.
3. Public Listings and Seller Contact Information
Listings are intended to be public or visible to other users. Information you include in a listing may be viewed, copied, saved or shared by others outside Tsawq’s control.
Seller contact information that you choose to display or provide may be visible to users who view or respond to your listing. You are responsible for deciding what information to include in public listings and communications.
4. Cookies, Local Storage and Consent
Tsawq uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies for website operation, security, language settings, forms, preferences and analytics/measurement where permitted.
The website uses a consent-management tool with these categories: Necessary, required for login, security, language, forms, core website functionality and consent storage and cannot be disabled through the cookie banner; Analytics, used only with your consent to help us understand website usage and improve Tsawq; and Marketing, used only with your consent if advertising or marketing measurement tools are enabled.
Non-essential cookies and storage are denied by default unless you choose to allow them. You can accept all, reject non-essential cookies, or manage your choices using Cookie Preferences. You may change or withdraw consent at any time by opening Cookie Preferences from the website footer.
5. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Consent Mode
Tsawq uses Google Tag Manager to manage website tags and Google Analytics 4 to measure website usage where permitted by your consent choices.
Google Consent Mode is used so that analytics and advertising-related storage are denied by default until consent is granted. If you reject non-essential cookies or do not grant consent, Tsawq limits non-essential analytics and marketing storage according to your choices.
We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers, message text, exact addresses or other directly identifying contact information to Google Analytics as analytics event data.
6. Contact Forms and Communications
When you submit a contact form or communicate through Tsawq, we may process the information you provide, including your name, email address, message content and related technical/security information, to respond to your request, prevent abuse and maintain records where reasonably necessary.
Communications between users are primarily the responsibility of the users involved. Do not share passwords, verification codes, financial credentials or sensitive personal information with other users.
7. Disclosure of Information
We may disclose information to other users or the public when you intentionally publish a listing, seller contact detail or other public content; to service providers that help operate, host, secure, analyze, maintain or support the website; to investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, prohibited listings or policy violations; to comply with applicable law or legal process; to protect rights, safety and security; or in connection with a business transfer, subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell personal information for money.
8. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate Tsawq, maintain accounts and listings, provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and maintain security records.
Some information may remain in backups, logs, archives or records for a limited period where deletion is not immediately practical or where retention is necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention or dispute-resolution purposes. When information is no longer needed, we may delete, anonymize or de-identify it.
9. Account, Listing and Data Deletion Requests
You may request deletion of your account information, listing content or other personal information by contacting Contact Tsawq Support.
We may need to verify your identity or account ownership before acting on a deletion request. We may retain limited information where necessary for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, enforcement of our policies, protection of other users, or legitimate business records.
Deleting or removing a listing may not remove copies already viewed, saved, indexed or shared by other users or third parties. Tsawq does not currently represent that every deletion action is available as an automated self-service feature.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. However, no website, transmission method or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users are responsible for protecting account credentials and should not share passwords, one-time codes or account access information.
11. User Rights and Choices
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of or information about personal information we process. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Requests may be sent to Contact Tsawq Support. Some requests may be limited by applicable law, security needs, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or the rights of others.
12. Children and Minors
Tsawq is intended for users who have legal capacity to use classifieds services and enter into relevant communications or transactions under applicable law. Users who are minors must use Tsawq only where permitted by applicable law and with any required consent or supervision from a parent or legal guardian.
13. International Processing
Tsawq and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, appropriate measures should be used.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on Tsawq.com with a revised Last Updated date.
